Saturday, January 2, 2016 promises to be fun all day at the Efua Sutherland Park as twin brothers take center stage with their Duo Concept Foundation to put smiles on the faces of their peers.
The half day event will see the children do face painting, bouncy castle, cotton candy, and musical chairs among other things.
There would also be some giveaways apart from the food and drinks that will be served at the event.
Over 300 children from all walks of life the municipality are expected to participate in the Kids Fun Day event.
The twins, Odurose Kwaku Kwarteng Acheampong (Panin) and Kwaku Nyarko Aboronoma Acheampong (Kakra), this website understands, are funding the event from the little savings they have made over the last three years.
They are being supported by Kasapa 102.3 FM, National Commission on Civic Education (NCCE), Photo Club Imaging and Voltic Natural Mineral Water.
They told Kasapafmonline.com that they were inspired by the art of giving and sharing as thought in the Bible by Jesus Christ.
“Our parents and teachers have been telling us to share what we have with our friends and others. We have a big susu box and anytime our mum and dad give us some money, we drop some into it. We wanted to do a big party for our friends. We want to celebrate New Year together,” noted Odurose Kwarteng Acheampong.
