On October 6, 2018 at the Accra International Conference Centre, the Radio and Television Personality awards voted news anchor Serwaa Amihere of GHOne TV as the year’s best television newscaster. It was a night of great experience as top media gurus were celebrated for outstanding media practice in the year under review. It’s not common in Ghana that an award broadcast will show reactions of nominees in the category simultaneously as the winner was being announced, giving us – those watching from the comfort of our homes, the opportunity to see their reactions to enhance our social media interactions.
