Manifesto feud: NPP cannot protect the seat of gov’t – Asiedu Nketia

General Secretary of the governing National Democratic Congress, Asiedu Nketia has said that the NPP’s continuous claim of having their ideas stolen points to the fact that Ghana cannot be handed in their care.

According to him, the New Patriotic Party [NPP] cannot be entrusted with the seat of the Presidency if they cannot protect their prized assets.

“They [NPP] accused us of potentially stealing their manifesto. We have come out with ours first and yet, they claim we have stolen their ideas. Then that means they cannot be trusted to protest a treasure like Ghana.

“NPP cannot protect the seat of government if they couldn’t even protect their manifesto from being stolen as they claim,” he charged at the ongoing launch of the NDC’s manifesto at the Coronation Park in Sunyani.

“Ghanaians must not make a mistake of entrusting Ghana into the NPP’s care,” Asiedu Nketia added.
