Ateaa Tina signs to Lumina Entertainment
Lumina Entertainment (LE) announced the signing of US based Ghanaian musician, Ernestina Agyemang, known in show business as “Ateaa Tina”.
“Ateaa Tina” was discovered by renowned Holland-based music producer Kweku Mensah, who was at the time producing songs for Esther Amoako and Daddy Lumba. In 2003, she collaborated with Daddy Lumba to release the “Bubra” Album which had hit songs like Dada Kae, Pony and Adaka Tea. In all, she worked with Lumba on five albums: “Mema Afa Wotrim Ne”, “Bubra”, “Odo Bewu Dee”, “Ahenfo Kyiniye” and “Give Peace A Chance”. Her sweet melodious voice has never gone unnoticed, and continues to win the hearts of many music lovers all over the World. “Ateaa Tina” has focused on raising a family for the last 15 years, and recently announced a come back to her music career.

We are happy to hint that we are already in the studios working on her first single, which is featuring her old-time friend, Okyeame Kwame. Ateaa Tina was born in Accra to Mr. Agyemang and Georgina Nduro. She has six siblings; four boys and one sister. She briefly schooled in Ghana – New Hope Elementary School – before moving to Amsterdam, Netherlands at the age of 11.
In Holland, she attended Bijlmer Drie school in Amsterdam before heading to Marcantie College. Ateaa Tina has a degree in Medical Assistant from Esprit Scholen Groep.
After school, she worked at several hospitals as Medical Assistant, including Academic Medical Center (Amsterdam).

In the year 2003, she collaborated with Daddy Lumba to release the album “Bubra”, which contained hits like “Pony”, “Adaka Tea” and “Dada Kae”. In all she has worked with Lumba on five albums: “Mema Afa Wotrim Ne”, “Bubra”, “Odo Bewu Dee”, “Ahenfo Kyiniye”, and “Give Peace a Chance”.
The first prominent artist she worked with was the gospel musician Esther Amoako. She was the main backing vocalist on all the songs on the Metrimu Po Nye Bone album, which had hits like the “He Can Do It” and the title track.
After more than a decade-long hiatus away from music, Tina announced her comeback on her social media accounts and series of interviews. She has recently signed with Lumina Entertainment and will be releasing her sophomore album and debut solo album in April 2021.
Tina is currently based in Atlanta, United States married with kids where she also owns a clothing line, DeeTee Style.
