Flagstaff House assault: Arrest warrant for ASP Nanka Bruce attackers

The Minister for Interior Ambrose, Thursday, stated on the floor of Parliament that an arrest warrant has been issued for two men suspected to be perpetuators of an attack on a director in charge of the VVIP at the seat of government, the Flagstaff House.

ASP Nanka Bruce was assaulted on January 9, 2017, the day President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was sworn into office.

Responding to a question about the incident posed by the NDC MP for Kumbungu, Ras Mubarak on the floor of Parliament, the Interior Minister revealed the matter is still under investigation.

He went on to identify Mumuni Jabir, an ex-police officer and one Abu as two men who led the assault that was captured by a CCTV camera.

Hon. Dery was confident that once arrested, the two will assist the law enforcement agencies to also get their accomplices apprehended.
