Parliament constitutes 24 member appointments C’ttee

Parliament has constituted a 26-member Appointments Committee to vet Nana Akufo-Addo’s ministerial nominees.

The President on Tuesday named his first thirteen batch of nominees and is expected to name sixteen more today Wednesday.

The team of nominees will be led by Senior Minister, Yaw Osafo-Marfo when confirmed.

Will be chaired by the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament and who will be assisted by Member of Parliament for Bekwai, Joseph Osei-Owusu, with Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu as Ranking Member.

The appointment committee, is made up of 16 MPs from the majority side, and 10 from the minority side.
