BBC’s DJ Rita Ray has identified Ghanaian singer/rapper Worlasi as among the African acts to look out for this year.

Worlasi was listed in the company of Guinea’s  MHD and Tanzania’s Vanessa Mdee.

Signed to Supreme Rights Records, Worlasi is widely regarded as among the brightest shining emerging acts in the country currently.

His debut mixtape Nuse (May 2015), together with Uncut – a collection of songs which didn’t make it unto his first project, have made him one of Ghana’s most sought-after voices, appearing on projects with Sarkodie, Kwaw Kese, Sena Dagadu, M.anifest among others.
