Too much sex draining our footballers – Malik Jabir

1 min read

Ex-footballer and experienced coach Malik Jabir says “too much sex” is sapping the energy levels of the modern day Ghanaian footballer.

According to him, majority of footballers these days get easily drained during games and are unable to last the entire duration of a game because they neither sleep nor train enough.

“A lot of today’s players cannot play 90 minutes because they get so tired easily. And you know why? Because they don’t sleep enough and don’t train enough and they engage in too much sex.”

“There are beautiful young girls in Ghana and they won’t leave them alone,” Coach Jabir, the immediate-past gaffer of the national U-23 team, the Black Meteors and current technical director of Asante Kotoko stated in an interview with Ultimate FM on the just ended 2015/16 Ghana Premier League.

He however advised: “There’s time for that and there’s time for football. If you mix the two, you can’t reach the top.”
