Asante Kotoko midfielder Stephen Nyarko is expected to be announced as a new signing for Tunisian giants Club Africain.

Nyarko joined the porcupine warriors in a free agent move after refusing to extend his stay with Wa All Stars in November 2015 and barely 10 months into his three-year contract, he is on the move for a $200,000 fee, ghonetv.com has expressly confirmed.

Last week, Asante Kotoko gave permission to the former Asokwa Deportivo player to travel for negotiations over his personal terms and mandatory medicals.

According to the club Nyarko has passed the tests by the North Africans and would hence complete his switch.

“[Stephen] Nyarko is in Tunisia and had his medical on Monday. We have been informed he has passed it,” Asante Kotoko’s General Manager Samuel Opoku Nti confirmed.

In a related development the club has debunked reports linking defender Richard Osei Agyemang to DR Congo champions TP Mazembe.
